ABOUT THE VENUE

ILANGA CUP ROUTE

The Ilanga Cup takes place at Red Star Raceway, which is a 4km closed-circuit, technical track designed to have challenging corners that flow from the apex of one to the entry of another. This ensures a challenge for track users, while at the same time providing spectator value.

ABOUT RED STAR RACEWAY

Since Red Star Raceway’s inception in 2009, it has grown exponentially and its membership numbers have grown from strength to strength. Red Star has been continuously developing and upgrading facilities to become the preferred racing track for racers and racing fans across Africa.

As part of their service offering, they have an onsite track school and host track days for the racing community and general public. Their track school and track days are covered by most insurance brokers. Accommodation on site is also available for those that wish to get an early start.

The enjoyment and safety of the racers, spectators, and crew is always their top priority and includes their plans going forward.
